As the adage that says ’a picture is worth a million words’ so is true, because with advancements in programming languages and softwares, website design and development shaped out a new wave of trend in terms of simplicity and effectiveness, there by making it simple and siutable for all. Because long are the days where static pictures of format .jpg .png and .jpeg, using the latest format of .gif pictures were given life and emotion making them more attractive to its seers ’website visitor.’ But care should be taken in the usage of animated pictures, because they either make the site attractive or boring to your customers (visitors). on the contrary, some webmasters kept exergeratting on picture insertion to the point that the website becomes dondy and unpleasant, making it longer to open.my recommendation for webmasters are: 1.pictures should be related to the website. And not posting irrelevant pictures. 2.alt tag should be given to each picture,because it may turn out to be a source of traffic from search engine spiders. 3.webmasters should consider colour merge when creating pictures for thier websites.
